The River Avon Trail Interpretation Project was managed by the Forest of Avon on behalf of the Avon Valley Partnership and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.  The Avon Valley Partnership comprises:

- Environment Agency
- Forest of Avon
- South Gloucestershire Council
The Avon Valley Partnership is continuing to work with local communities to improve the environment and public access in the Avon Valley
